For my friends

We would like to thank Fudgie of the Piappies World blog, Aki , Charlie J. Spitz , Super Dog Sweepy, and special guest star, Teddy ( who "flew all the way from Illinois") for gamely participating in this very special Christmas dance video produced by yours truly.

The boys only had 5 minutes to practice, thanks to the superb direction of my brother Moymoy and the exquisite choreography of my sissie Trudis, the boys rendered a spectacular performance~ I won't be surprised if they get invited by Ellen or Oprah. LOL

We would like to dedicate this to all our doggy , kitty, and hooman pals in the internet and their wonderful hoomans.

Your gift of friendship, love, and compassion are among the best gifts that I have ever received in my lifetime...I will treasure it always.

Thank you for making my Wheely Dreams come true! Eddie's Wheels have already started making it, and the shipping concerns have been threshed out.

You are fantastic guys, I love you all.

Hee hee, that was so much fun starring in that video!! Thanks for inviting us to participate, Scarlet!! You're a very talented producer. Moy Moy and Trudis were amazing at barking out dance moves so we could all learn fast.

I'm so excited that your wheelie is being made right now. Santa's elves are probably helping out to make sure it's built just right. Hopefully you'll have your dream wheelie by next year!!

And seriously now. Dearest friends - please tell us you are all OK. We have been hearing lots on the news about a big erupting volcano in the Philippines and are very worried. We are thinking of you a great deal - please reassure that you are alright.

The Tale of My Wheelies

In January 2009, I was officially adoptedby my Animal Doctor and his wife, the Secretary.

My new Mom could not bear to see me struggle with my paralysis. In September, she hatched a crazy plan to get me a professionally made wheelchair. It seemed crazy then because she had no idea where or how to get me that wheelchair. With 6 rescue dogs in addition to the 9 she originally have, money was only good to spend on food and basic health necessities.

Mom applied for financial assistance to Labrador Life Line, an organization helping needy labradors in the US. LLL approved a 500US$ financial assistance to purchase my quadcart from Eddie's Wheels which could cost between 800-1200 US$. Mom had to raise the remaining funds to purchase the wheels and to pay for shipping.

Mom got cold feet because she's never raised funds before. But our friends were there to help us. Some gave up money for their toys and treats to chip in to my wheelchair fund; others sent encouragements so Mom would not give up. And there were some who unselfishly shared a spot in their blog to spread my story. I could not believe it, but we were able to raise the money needed to purchase and ship my wheelchair! And the extra good news is, Eddie's Wheels gave us a discount on account of my being a rescued dog.

On January 28, 2010, my wheelchair finally arrived in the Philippines. This is it, my dream finally happening. I owe it to all of you.
