Bits and Pieces of Me

The Secretary-Mom's triumph at finding the perfect diapers for me ( oh I've tried several brands) was short lived after I developed a horrible case of diaper rash.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B
Mom thinks that my nanny should have seen the rashes developing and prevent it from turning into an ugly wound. Mom mentioned a famous American actor who was paralyzed just like me but died from a simple bed sore. Its a good thing that she manages to check each one of us doggies at night, no matter how dog tired she is.

Let's go check my nails.

Since my nails hardly scratch the floor, they can grow really quick.

You think I could make a fortune auctioning these off at Ebay?

At the end of her inspection, Mom gives me scritches . Can you tell that I so totally love it?

Secretary's Note:
Today, we received another donation for Scarlet's wheelchair. The name was quite familiar, until I realized that she was a previous donor. Her message brought tears to my eyes that I want to share it with you.

i live alone and am putting myself through college while working full time and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I dont have much to give but i promise that every paycheck i will make a donation untill Scarlet has her wheelchair. If i had more money, and a house, i would ultimatley love to give her a home...but for now, i will give what i have just to keep a smile on Scarlet's pretty little fuzzy face. Warmest Wishes this holiday season. God Bless
I've always relied on my own resources, no matter how meager, in helping animals in need. I was motivated by probably the same emotion that inspire your concern for our little girl Scarlet- compassion for a helpless, innocent creature. But being in the receiving end of kindness this time, I am reminded of what its like to experience goodness, just basic goodness, from people and places where I least expect it. For a moment, all evil in this world seem insignificant, my faith and hope in humankind restored. To be able to share this gift of positivism around is another motivation for my animal welfare advocacy . My thanks to you all for the inspiration.
